Job Summary:

You will be the primary contributor to the ongoing development and maintenance of the firmware stack that runs on all of our products.  You will have ownership over development, bug fixing, testing, production release and field support - basically the entire product life cycle.

What you’ll do:

 

  • Design, develop, debug and maintain C  and C++ embedded programs as part of our core IoT offerings
  • Work within and expand our PyTest environment building unit and integration tests
  • Write documentation, perform code reviews and undertake other processes related to our Quality system
  • Help design and build our firmware CI/CD pipeline
  • Design, develop, debug and maintain embedded and PC-based programs used in Manufacturing Test Software
  • Collaborate with Hardware designers on board bring-up and debug

  

What would make you a strong fit:


  • 5+ years hands on experience in bare-metal and RTOS based firmware engineering. This is a lead position and not suitable for junior developers.
  • Experience in highly constrained systems, with a good understanding of low level operations like memory management and inter-process communications
  • Experience with FreeRTOS and the espressif ESP-32 processor
  • Exposure to IoT and typical Cloud-based IoT operations
  • Exposure to low level Bluetooth and Wifi stacks such as LWIP and Bluedroid
  • Experience working on small, highly independent teams
